About Us
With more than 30 years of proven success, Blessings of NE Ohio (Blessings) is uniquely positioned to wrap around each teen mom, equipping her with the knowledge, skills, and faith-based encouragement to write a new chapter in her life. Blessings is designed for teen moms, between the ages of 13-23, who are already parenting.
Our Vision & Mission
To help teen moms find hope, purpose, and a future. Our mission is three-tiered:
- Equip teen mothers to build thriving families.
- Inspire Christ-followers to serve and make an impact.
- Break barriers to empower teen moms for independence and success.

Our Core Values
Jesus Christ is the founder & finisher
Blessings is based on Biblical principles, understands that its board members and volunteers are committed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and are willing to share it verbally and live it out through their actions.
"...but we were gentle among you, like a mother caring for her little children. We loved you so much that we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well because you had become so dear to us." (1 Thessalonians 2:7-8)
Teen mom empowerment & care
Blessings is committed to empowering teen moms to become independent members of the community, while giving their children the best possible start by addressing their physical and spiritual needs.
The power of prayer
We are committed to earnestly pray for our teen moms and volunteers.

Our Statement of Faith
Scripture guides everything we do and every decision we make
The sixty-six canonical books of the Bible (as originally written) were inspired of God, hence free from error. They constitute the only infallible guide in faith and life.
God exists as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in perfect unity.
There is one God, the Creator and Preserver of all things, infinite in being and perfection. He exists eternally in three Persons: The Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, who are one substance and equal in power and glory.
Jesus Christ died and rose again to offer salvation to all.
Man, created in the image of God, through disobedience, fell from his sinless state at the suggestion of Satan. This fall plunged man into a state of sin and spiritual death, and brought upon the entire race the sentence of eternal death. From this condition, man can be saved only by the grace of God, through faith, on the basis of the work of Christ, and by the agency of the Holy Spirit. God loves everyone equally, regardless of race, nationality, gender, or sexual orientation. He offers everyone the chance to be saved by accepting His grace and entering into a personal relationship with Him.
Grace through faith transforms lives and breaks generational cycles
The eternally preexistent Son became incarnate without a human father, having been conceived of the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. Thus in the Lord Jesus Christ divine and human natures were united in one Person, both natures being whole, perfect, and distinct. To effect salvation, He lived a sinless life and died on the cross as the sinner's substitute, shedding His blood for the remission of sins. On the third day, He rose from the dead in the body which had been laid in the tomb. He ascended to the right-hand side of the Father, where He performs the ministry of intercession. He shall come again, personally and visibly, to complete His saving work and to consummate the eternal plan of God.
